The Pursuit of Personal & Professional Fulfillment
Presented by:
Paul Hott
President & CEO
Evolation Consulting
Personal Reflection:
We live in a world obsessed with success and achievement. From a young age, we're bombarded with messages that equate success with external validation: prestigious jobs, high salaries, luxurious possessions, social status, etc. We're taught to climb the corporate ladder, accumulate wealth, and acquire possessions as markers of our worth. This relentless pursuit of external markers often leads us down a path that, ironically, leaves us feeling profoundly empty and unfulfilled.
Reflect on your personal and professional life over the last 3-5 years. What do you see and feel?
- Where and with whom did I spend my time?
- What have I deemed to be valuable in my life?
- Is there a greater meaning or purpose that has guided my decisions?
- How fulfilled am I?
- As a leader, how fulfilled is my team (individually and professionally)?
Starting today, you have a choice to make...how will you intentionally live and lead during the next 5 years? Chasing success or living your most fulfilled life (and helping others be more fulfilled)?
Professional Reflection:
As HR leaders, are your people processes, leaders and culture built to truly understand what is most important to the next generation? The most recent Gallup data (Feb 2025) suggests they are not:
- Record low: 30% have a strong connection with the company’s mission/purpose
- 10-year low: only 18% are extremely satisfied with their job
- 10-year high: 51% are actively seeking new jobs
- 11-year low: 31% of the workforce is engaged (17% actively disengaged)
This “Great Detachment” clearly indicates that our current leadership and HR practices are not enough – Engagement Alone Is Not Enough!
At Evolation Consulting, we believe the future of work, leadership and HR practices requires a significantly more hyper-personalized and people-centric approach, resulting in greater personal and professional fulfillment.
Join us at the March 19th SHRM breakfast to learn more about how Evolation Consulting is utilizing a ‘whole person’ approach to empower individuals, leaders and organizations to:
- pursue their personal and professional purpose,
- elevate their performance and impact, and
- live their most fulfilled lives.
Objectives:
- Share a cutting edge, proprietary inventory designed to understand your, and your team’s, level of fulfillment across four life pathways.
- Discuss a hyper-personalized, ‘Whole Person’ approach to more effectively empower individuals, leaders and organizations.
- Provide a roadmap for Building High-Performing Teams, using a Whole Person approach.
