Mental Health in the Workplace
Presented by:
Andrew Loiterstein
Director of Programs
NAMI St. Louis

Mental Health in the Workplace provides a foundation of information and resources that empowers organizations to nurture a workplace environment that is both healthy and productive. The presentation fosters dialogue and collaboration by providing information about mental health, self-care, and local resources.

Participants will:

  • Have a better understanding of common mental health conditions and how they impact employees in the workplace.
  • Know how to foster a workplace culture that fosters positive mental health for employees.
  • Have a greater understanding of community resources available to support individuals living with mental health conditions.

After a career in public education, serving as a middle school teacher and principal, Andrew Loiterstein is now the Director of Programs at NAMI St. Louis. The National Alliance on Mental Illness provides education, advocacy, and support essential to the recovery, resilience, and well-being of all who have mental health needs and for their families, caregivers, and the community. Andrew oversees all programming at NAMI St. Louis, including support groups, education programming, school based prevention, and mental health presentations. In his free time, Andrew enjoys spending with his family, watching Cardinal's baseball, and traveling.
