Essential Question: How might we harness the unique strengths of each generation to create more dynamic, innovative, and inclusive workplaces?
Join your fellow SHRM St. Louis members for a virtual conversation as we join together to commit to sparking 1 Million Civil Conversations in the workplace and beyond. This is an informal get together. Attendees will participate in a facilitated discussion focused on fostering a culture of civility. Together we can create better workplaces and a better world, one conversation at a time.
Goal for this discussion:
- Create a safe space for HR professionals to openly discuss generational stereotypes and misconceptions, leading to more nuanced understanding of how these perceptions impact workplace dynamics and team relationships
- Share practical insights and real-world experiences about successful multi-generational collaboration, including communication preferences, work styles, and technology adoption across different age groups
- Develop actionable strategies for building inclusive workplace cultures that leverage generational diversity as a strength, focusing on how different perspectives and experiences can drive innovation and problem-solving.
