Lessons Learned From the Pandemic:
Avoiding Pitfalls With Vaccination Policies & Return to Office/Workspace Initiatives

With the rollout of the vaccine, companies are determining where they stand on requiring employees to get vaccinated or not as well as how this impacts return to work planning. Join us for a panel discussion on some of the legal parameters around these things but mostly the practical “how to” for implementing and administering vaccination policies, safety protocols, and remote/hybrid/flexible working arrangements. This presentation will provide you with tips and tricks that major companies have learned before, during and after the pandemic with vaccination programs and remote/hybrid/flexible working arrangements.

Attendees will learn how to:

  • Plan for major events like the pandemic and quickly implement safety policies and procedures.
  • Investigate and understand the internal politics that are/will be involved in your organization when determining how to create a framework for these policies.
  • Actively or subtly determine the attitudes, expectations and concerns of your employee population before implementing, publicizing and enforcing your policies and procedures internally.

Panelists:

  • Jim Paul, SHRM-SCP, Ogletree Deakins
  • Caryn L. Fine, Director & Assistant General Counsel, Ameren
  • Nathan J. Harris, Labor & Employment Counsel, Mercy
