Creating Memorable Moments in the Team Member Journey

In many of the research reports predicting what will be the focus for organizations in 2021, the employee experience has been at the top of these lists. A recent Forbes article said it very simply - "2020 Changed The Employee Experience Forever - These Trends Will Matter in 2021." Why is this? We saw unprecendented change in our work environments and in our communities last year. How organizations responded to these challenges (more importantly how they treated their team members and their customers) will long be remembered because experience matters! Team members are looking for purpose and belonging and an opportunity to be heard - and experiences are not all the same! Organizations that listen to their team members' needs, act on their feedback, and support their leaders are going to be the ones that thrive.

About Our Speaker
Becki Feldmann joined Commerce Bank in July of 2019 as Assistant Vice President, Senior Employee Experience Designer. She also serves on the leadership team for Commerce Bank’s multicultural employee resource group, VIBE. She enjoys uncovering team member needs and designing programs to create meaningful experiences which lead to a greater sense of belonging, improved performance and engagement and retention.

She formerly led SSM Health in Employee and Candidate Experience for 16 years. Becki started as a psych tech in one of the hospitals but after being drawn into retention and development initiatives she moved into the organizational development space which led to many opportunities in HR and then IT. In 2014, Becki landed in Talent Management where she combined her expertise with HR technology and user design with candidate and employee experience.

Becki brings a unique blend of HR, OD and IT to meet the ever-changing needs of the business to achieve exceptional results. Becki is recognized as a thought leader in the area of candidate and employee experience. Becki’s passion for developing herself and others is evident through her involvement with the Missouri State Council for SHRM, Lewis and Clark SHRM, and the Society of Multicultural Human Resource Professionals (SMPHR). Becki also launched her own company b-e-connected, LLC in 2019 where she is focused on helping companies and individuals to tell their story to build brand awareness, better relationships and improved connectivity with their audiences!
