SHRMSTL June 9, 2021 DEI Program
DEI Ecosystems
Creating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work culture requires more than a DEI strategy and hard work. It requires a well-executed change management plan and a comprehensive DEI ecosystem focusing on eliminating discrimination, auditing and retooling organizational systems that perpetuate systemic biases, and creating a corporate culture where all stakeholders (employees, customers, suppliers, strategic partners, community, etc.) are valued. Organizations that are mindful of their DEI ecosystem regularly evaluate their performance against metrics, hold people accountable for their actions at all levels, recognize good performance, and challenge behaviors and policies that threaten their DEI values.
To learn more about the DEI ecosystem, join us on June 9th at 8:30 a.m. to hear our speaker, Gloria Carter-Hicks, president and CEO of Hicks-Carter-Hicks, share tips, tools, and techniques for building the organization’s DEI ecosystem.
This session has been approved for 1.0 hour of SHRM and HRCI Certification Credit.
